I found myself multiple times trying to imagine what the workday of a writer or an actor looks like to us mere mortals.

What do they do? Just wake up and write bc they love to do that?

Most people don’t find quite a compelling writer’s regular workday.

But what about actors?!?

Come on. You definitely can’t say their daily mundane is boring.

They get up, scan their high-following social profiles, dress well, check off their handsomeness in the mirror, high-five themselves, and go to the film set to kiss other top-notch hotties. Plus, in the meantime, they are blessed to hang out with other celebrities and laugh their heads off while sipping cocktails. Of course, all of these we watch in the movie’s bloopers and ask ourselves why we didn’t pursue an acting career.

Where am I going with this?

Nowhere.

I am writing now daily. And I find it liberating, but at the same time, I see my family thinks something is off with me since I am spending my free time locked in a room staring at my MacBook, thinking, typing, thinking, typing, staring in the emptiness repeatedly.

From their perspective, I am suffering. In my head, I am blessed to be able to write. You see, we are family, so close, same genes, yet such different perspectives.

If your closest one can’t see you for what you truly are, don’t get agitated when some stranger sees you differently and has an opposite worldview from you.

Who knows, maybe being an actor is not as enjoyable as we thought.

Talk to you on Monday.
