This topic is extensive and complex, but I will start with two misconceptions closest to me and my experiences.
Misconception 1:
A lot of high achievers relate happiness to earning more money. Now I get why.
They don’t understand that entrepreneurs earn more money by solving problems. And to solve any problem, you must do a hard thing, challenge yourself, and overcome difficulty.
You feel happiness after overcoming hardship, but in the business world, every overcome difficulty is rewarded by an inflow of money. So usually, you find yourself happy with more cash in your hands.
Conclusion:
People who believe money can make you happy are half right. The only problem here is that they cannot recognize the true source of their happiness: overcoming struggle.
Misconception 2:
The second case of when money can make you happy is when you help others or do something meaningful outside of your direct desire for self-service.
An example of this is when you retire your parents, donate to charity, or buy a present for people dear to you.
Conclusion:
So here again, people mix having money with being happy. You are so glad because you can take care of others. Your fulfillment comes from your ability to serve others. But to be generous, you must be financially stable

Can money genuinely make you happy?
No. It’s worthless paper. Money can only make you happy as a byproduct of self-improvement and your ability to serve others.
Buying the fastest car, wearing the latest fashion brands, or flexing to make others impressed is the track toward destruction. Whoever walked this path can tell you the same.
As long as money serves your ego and not others, you won’t find true happiness.
Hope this short essay makes you think.
With love,
Angela
