I caught myself trying to read as many books as possible, listen to an endless number of podcasts, and constantly acquire the knowledge necessary to advance my business. And then I realize I most likely won’t remember any of this data a couple of months from now. The brain can process and store a certain amount of data per day. No more than what's its capacity. It’s impossible to store everything I ever heard or read. So why then bother acquiring new knowledge? This is my first time questioning why am I intellectually improving.

I guess by learning and acquiring new information you unlock a new level of consciousness, you break old beliefs, build new ones and your horizon expands. The knowledge accumulates and stores in your subconscious, so you can pull certain info when you need it to combine with the new data, so you can process the reality around you and unlock the next stage.

It’s like a book; you don’t remember exactly the sentences you have read, but it changed you forever.

Why am I cerebrating on this question?

It’s because I started realizing that being is way more valuable than thinking. The mind can't replace the presence. If I had to trade all my knowledge just to be able to sit still, in peace, and be present, most likely I would accept that trade. And you guys know how much I am all about self-education.

There is nothing more beautiful and enjoyable than being present and in peace. God bless the present moment.

With love,

Angela
