Many parents are confused.

Why do their kids never visit them!?

They provided them with the best education in the country, study abroad programs, and sports instructors. They were the first to get their driving licenses, drive the newest cars, and dress in the latest fashion.

Where did they, as parents, make such a mistake when now their own kids bearly call them, let alone visit them?

What I have observed in my short time spent on earth is that each investment returns to you. What you invest in, you will get back.

Knowledge, gifts, and travel can be given, but touch, hug, and honest emotion can’t. It has to be experienced to be given.

The words, the look, and my mother's breathing while she carries me asleep in her arms... well, that lives, as long as one lives…

Now when I look back, my parents were ultra-wise. They chose to quantify investments in their children through intangible assets. Today even if some of us would like to disapprove of our parents’ actions and efforts, we can’t.

There is no tool on earth to estimate or capture the amount of love you give to somebody. Love pays the highest dividends, compounds endlessly, and has the highest ROI.

What a smart way to invest.

We are all raised into intelligent, highly capable, and healthy humans.

We don’t lack happiness. Beauty, either.

We can only complain about not having materialistic wealth left to our names. But my parents claim they never wanted to leave us emotionally crippled and money-oriented. They wanted to leave us with the most abundant asset but so scarce nowadays; they wanted to leave us with skyscrapers of love.

Wealth above all wealth.
