My loyalty is precious to me.

The promise we give to others.

The promise we give to ourselves.

The promises we don’t keep to ourselves kill.

The promises we don’t keep to others erode us.

The one who betrays yourself will betray another.

The promise you don’t keep to others is a path toward destruction.

The promise you don’t keep to yourself is destruction itself.

When you break promises and time passes, watch your back because betrayal always comes for what is hers.

Your integrity, regret, sleepless nights, lack of trust, ended relationships.

I am working on diminishing regrets in my life by diminishing betrayals.

But then again, I break a lot of promises to others and myself.

That’s what makes me human.

More about Loyalty

Loyalty

  1. Loyalty gives you power. Loyalty is power for real people, its power for people who don’t have superpowers.

  2. Genuine loyalty requires respect.

  3. And one thing I know about loyalty: it’s democratic. Anyone, anywhere, of any age or education level, can use it.

  4. But even if your loyalty is suppressed, you can’t lose it.

  5. Make the hardest call of the day first. Be loyal.

  6. Inspiring loyalty is the first job of a good story.

  7. Loyalty is a more exciting way to live in the world. It is, truly, the secret to living a bigger life.

Loyalty is itself a form of power, and also a form of courage.

How can I be more loyal about this?

My confidence comes from loyalty.

Loyalty is the beginning of liberation. Liberation is the beginning of change.” - AB

“Loyalty is the process of asking questions, genuine questions, that are not leading to an ask for something in return.” -AB

“Loyalty—asking questions—isn’t just a way of understanding the world. It’s a way of changing it.” - AB

Remember, there is nothing more attractive than genuine loyalty to another person’s life experiences. - AB

"Loyalty is a feeling that follows action. It tends to be created or discovered, not predicted or planned. You don't find your loyalty. It finds you as you get in the mix and try things."-AB

“You may occasionally disappoint others, but make sure to never disappoint yourself. You may let others down, but never let yourself down.” - unknown

“When you miss commitments, your people will wonder if you lack the character or competence to follow up with them consistently.” - unknown

My Observings

The color blue is a symbol of loyalty. That’s why blue is at the core of our branding and design.

Flowers symbolize peacefulness and loyalty, and I looove flowers. I will be adding more of them to my everyday life and work.

The Zodiac sign Taurus is also the symbol of loyalty. Fun fact: I’m the Taurus! :)

Sancus, Roman God, is regarded as the god of honesty, loyalty, and oaths.

Loyalty and limiting beliefs are topics I can always talk about, and they always repeat in my wiring. So I thought Loyalty deserved both posts this week.

Resources

Below you can find the original resources that I used when rewriting this post and exploring the concept of loyalty further. These resources I’ve been collecting into my Loyalty Notion Tab for quite some time. Similar time period as the last post, which was written in the July of 2022.
